Our stories

Stories, headlines and summaries written by Whitehall Minute, and the site’s design, code and graphics, are © Whitehall Minute. You may quote short extracts with a link to the page quoted.

Official documents

Where a story quotes an official announcement, statistical release or parliamentary answer, the quoted text remains under the licence of the body that issued it, which is named and linked in the story. Those bodies’ own pages are the authoritative versions.

Images

Photographs are used under the open licences listed, with their authors, on the image credits page.

Accuracy

We take care to report accurately and we correct errors promptly (see corrections). The site is provided as is, without warranty. Where a story reports an official document, the issuing body’s own page is the authoritative version. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, medical, immigration or other professional advice.
