When are the Premium Bonds results? Next on Tuesday 3 November

A Bond has to be held for a whole month first, so Bonds bought in November enter the January draw.

The next Premium Bonds results are due on Tuesday 3 November 2026, the countdown on the National Savings & Investments (NS&I) prize checker page shows.

NS&I’s Premium Bonds page says Bonds are entered into a monthly prize draw, with prizes ranging from £25 to £1 million.

Which Bonds are in which draw

A Bond must be held for “a whole month” before it is eligible, NS&I says. Its example is November purchases, which go into the January draw. The first two rows of the table below extend that example by the same two-month step; they are our reading of the rule, not NS&I figures.

The page does not say which month’s draw the 3 November results belong to.

How to check for a win

The prize checker app “shows you this month’s prizes and anything you’ve won in the previous six draws”, NS&I says. Holders can also enter a holder’s number online, or ask Alexa to “enable the Premium Bonds prize checker skill”.

NS&I tells winners by email or text message. For prizes of £25,000, £50,000 or £100,000 it sends a claim form that must be returned before the prize is paid, and claim forms go out on the first working day of the month. A £1 million winner is visited in person by “Agent Million”.

The figures on NS&I’s pages

Premium Bonds at a glance

Prize fund rate4.35%, variable (from the September prize draw)
Odds per £1 Bond21,000 to 1, variable (from the September prize draw)

most you can hold£50,000 in total

Both figures are listed as variable. Premium Bonds pay no interest; an annual prize fund rate funds the monthly draw instead, and NS&I’s page says the rate, prize values and odds can all change at any time, for example before new Bonds become eligible for their first draw.

Questions and answers

Are Premium Bonds prizes taxed?

NS&I’s Premium Bonds page says any prizes won are free from UK Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax.

Can a child have Premium Bonds?

Yes. Children under 16 can hold them, but a parent or guardian looks after the Bonds until the child’s 16th birthday, NS&I says. A child cannot hold more than £50,000 in total.

Does reinvested prize money wait a month?

No. Bonds bought with reinvested prize money are eligible to win prizes from the very next draw, NS&I says.
